I love the Natural History Museum. Who doesn’t? Perhaps the most beautiful building in London, and full of treasures.
The only downside for me is the lack of specimens in the arthropod hall. So I made my way for the first time to the Darwin Centre, hoping to find some cases of specimens. I didn’t find any cases, but did discover the spirit hall.
Only a few specimens are actually out on display, the rest are held tantalisingly behind glass doors that you can just glimpse at. What I wouldn’t give to get in there!
I just had my rubbish android phone camera, not good in low light, so I bought up the shadows in post, hence all the noise. I can’t wait to do some sketches of these…
