Coventry Cathedral

In Coventry for the weekend visiting family, and can’t help myself wandering towards the Cathedral. I remember when I first moved to Coventry I was outraged by the ‘ugliness’ of the new Cathedral, but over time have come to love it, especially the stunning stained glass windows. You now have to pay to get into the new Cathedral, but the old Cathedral is still free and is a special place for most of us Coventrians. (There’s also a wonderful 1940’s cafe, ‘The Rising’ that’s well worth a visit.)

Just a couple of snaps from my rubbish android phone, and with an HD filter, so extra noisy, but just wanted to share. I will have to come back with my proper camera soon.
